On 7 December 2022, the UK’s Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) updated its guidance on specifying, procuring and implementing detection dog services to reflect the launch of NCTAS-P (National Canine Training Accreditation Scheme – Private Security Sector) in March 2021.
“It is strongly recommended that any organisation considering the use of explosives detection dogs as part of the security mix for any building, site or event it is responsible for only uses EDD teams holding current NCTAS-P accreditation.” – CPNI
Our ICTS Explosives Detection Dogs remain the only ones to hold the NCTAS-P accreditation.
